"Join the Line" to visit as a walk-in or to make an appointment

Welcome to the Access DFW Office

DFW's Access DFW Office serves as the central hub for all badging processes for employees and individuals that do business at DFW. You can easily book an appointment, view FAQS and resources regarding your badge.

The Access DFW office has moved to Terminal B, B17 (outside security)

In response to COVID-19 and recommended precautionary measures, Access DFW will reduce our staff and office hours effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020. The revised Access DFW office hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Our team will continue to work as efficiently as possible to meet the needs of our customers. Please contact your designated Authorized Signatory for additional information. You may also contact Access DFW by email or phone.

Safety and security are our foundation

Badge Design Changes

The five colors you’re used to seeing (blue, yellow, red, green, white) have been simplified to three:

  1. Blue/SIDA
  2. Purple/Sterile
  3. Yellow/Public

Our New Office

In order to prepare you for your visit, please view a virtual walk-through of our office. We have also instilled new COVID-19 safety measures.

Take a moment to watch so you can know what to expect. Please note, our office has moved to Terminal B, B17 (landside, outside security)

Employees can make an appointment or join our line as a walk-in by using the “Join the Line” button above from wherever they are. This way, you can continue working (or relaxing at home) until we are ready to see you.

Before coming to see us, please be sure you can answer “yes” to both of these questions:
  1. Did you receive an email letting you know we are ready to see you? If not, contact your Authorized Signatory. An Authorized Signatory is the designated representative authorized to request Airport Identification badges and maintain employee records on behalf of their agency.

  2. Have you reviewed the Badge Identification Requirements for the required documents to ensure you have valid, acceptable documentation, and that your documents are originals (not copies) and in good condition (for example, are all names and numbers readable)?

Bring your documents with you - first time, every time!

Ready to come see us? Here are the three scheduling methods we offer:
  1. Click the Join the Line button above to make an appointment or join the line as a walk-in. An appointment can be made up to 60 days in advance.
  2. You may walk in and schedule in person. Use the door for Terminal B17 Departures level, outside security (public side)
  3. Walk-ins can text “Access DFW” to 972-860-1730. (Appointments cannot be scheduled by text. Text messaging is only available for walk-ins.)
